Application
Used as an adjunct to anesthesia for surgery or orthopaedic surgery to obtain adequate muscle relaxation, and for convulsive diseases such as tetanus. It is a non - depolarizing muscle relaxant with fast onset and strong effect. The effect is similar to that of chlorinated canisterine, but it has no side effects such as ganglion block and blood pressure drop, and will not cause bronchospasm. It may also stimulate the beta receptor or anti-vagal action of the heart to increase the heart rate, increase blood pressure and increase cardiac output.
