Application
1.Used for antibacterial and antiseptic of medicine, cosmetics and food
2.Preservatives. Because the solubility in water is small, it is usually prepared into ethanol solution, acetic acid solution or sodium hydroxide solution. Several different esters are often used to improve solubility. For example, three parts of isobutyl ester, four parts of isopropyl ester and three parts of butyl ester are prepared into a co-soluble mixture that is used as an oil-in-water emulsifier. This preparation is easy to be used in soy sauce and other foods, and its solubility is 2 ~ 3 times higher than that of butyl ester alone. For use in Chemicalbook oil, 20% ~ 25% of the product can be added to 5% sodium hydroxide solution, and then slowly added to soy sauce which has been heated to about 80℃. Acetic acid solutions or ester emulsifiers may also be used. The mildew proof dosage of soy sauce was 0.05 ~ 0.10g/L. Vinegar can be used in acetic acid or sodium hydroxide solution. A solution of sodium hydroxide is available in cool beverages, but is usually used in combination with benzoic acid and dehydroacetic acid.
